DEVELOPMENT TEAM

PURPOSE: To develop and coordinate Orient-wide financial support for the Scottish Rite charities and programs, with special emphasis on the Childhood Languages Disabilities centers and clinics and Scholarship programs sponsored  through the Scottish Rite Foundation of Georgia, Inc., on Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, and on other Orient-wide areas of interest (i.e. – public, Masonic and membership awareness of Freemasonry  and the Rite, Americanism, etc.);  To give assistance in the planning and sharing ideas on separate Valley financial support for Valley-specific charity, Scottish Rite Center building endowment, and other  programs.

MEMBERSHIP TEAM

PURPOSE: To develop and refine programs for the successful recruitment, retention, reinstatement and affiliation of members into the Scottish Rite throughout the Orient by sharing ideas and introducing new ideas and programs; To find, develop and make available programs of Masonic education for Valley use and general Scottish Rite members enlightenment; and To coordinate relations with the Symbolic Lodges, York Rite and other Masonically affiliated bodies and groups (including, without limitation, support of Masonic related youth organizations of DeMolay and Rainbow.

WEB SITE and TECHNOLOGY TEAM

PURPOSE: To develop and maintain a Orient-wide internet web site for the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Georgia, with special emphasis on information regarding each of the six Valleys, with the objective of providing the  public, Scottish Rite Masons and the Masonic community with information regarding the Rite and its activities, as well as the general activities of the family of Masonic bodies in each Valley's general jurisdiction;  To research, develop and offer assistance and advice to the several Valleys on matters of technology for communication and records keeping, reporting and retention; To encourage and offer programs to Valley membership concerning the use of the internet and email.

SCOTTISH RITE CHILDHOOD LANGUAGE DISORDERS PROGRAMS TEAM

PURPOSE: To define, develop, refine and maintain the relationship with the Orient's partners in the Scottish Rite Childhood Language (or Communicative) Disorders centers and clinics, To assist in the expansion of existing centers; To develop new partnerships with colleges, health care institutions, and others, providing access to the program throughout the Orient; To develop methods of promotion of the general program and specific centers and clinics within the Scottish Rite, Masonic and public communities which they serve, including the institution of boards of visitors for each center; To assist the Development Team in the development of financial resources to allow the expansion of the program and its effectiveness.
